Thailand: Phuket- A Thousand Islands & Salt Water Therapy!

The time game to venture from mountainous inland to the ocean!
From Chiang Mai to Phuket we went!

You could not ask for a smoother process than getting through Chiang Mai Airport; from drop off to sitting at the gate to await boarding was 15 minutes. We had a chauffeur waiting to transfer us to the hotel that we reserved through booking.com. Casa Blanca is in the heart of Old Phuket Town, and I cannot recommend it more highly. The location, the hotel, and the staff are perfect. And cheap. We got set up and settled in our room, and then we went out to explore our neighborhood...enjoying a massage at Kim's and getting some dinner.

And now...the entire purpose of Phuket!!!!
Up bright and early, we had a car awaiting to take us to our all-day boat tour with Simba Boat Tours. The come with the highest of recommendations: well-organized, professional, and just awesome. It was also nice that we had a speed boat and there were only 9 of us for the day. All I can say is that Thailand is more beautiful by sea, with it's hundreds of people-less islands. We bounced to so many of them. We were canoed through caves, hiked through limestone caves to waterfalls, walked vacant white sand beaches. I just loved standing there as the boat jetted through the waters, enjoying the shade of the cover while watching the seas, eyes darting between all of the beautiful sights, and the wind blowing through my hair.

I am a water girl.
I am truly a water girl.
The most perfect day.
Now, no more more words....just plenty of beautiful views to be enjoyed:

Our route for the day!
