As you well know, based on my "July" posts, we enjoyed a fabulous Mayer Wedding!
Our gift to the bride and groom was a trip to wherever they wanted. They chose Italy and asked us to join! YAY!
It was a good mix of old and new for us, as we had done some of Italy in 2011, but we added the Amalfi Coast this time around....and significantly more financial security, so even the cities that we visited before were more available than before! To Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast we went!
We arrived to Rome a day ahead of Michael and Johnna, to get things set up, ordered, and arranged...so once that was done, we did a bit of exploring ahead of their arrival.
